The Connective Heart

Abstract

This chapter focused on how the 'point of being' paradigm can help us recover the role that consciousness centred-in-the-heart had before consciousness-centred-in-the-brain replaced it in the West as the cognitive and perceptual centre. The aim of this chapter is to use some features of heart-centred perception, cognition and consciousness in the analysis of digital technology and culture.
