The 8th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) supports well-known deep-seated socio-economic concepts that seek to promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. In this article we have tried to read these main concepts, distinguishing four sections (sustained economic growth; employment and work; full employment, and decent work). Our assessment has been very critical. In terms of sustained economic growth, it moves in the classical paradigm, around Gross Domestic Prod-uct and per capita income. with these tools it is unlikely that the current destructive economic model will be redirected towards a sustainable economy, eliminating poverty, as the goal says. Per capita income is a very limited measure, it does not serve to measure inequality and poverty. As an alternative to per capita income, we would propose the Human Development Index, which is not recognized by 8th GIH. when it comes to full employment, unless the current liberal model changes, as employment is a productive factor in the economic sphere rather than a basic hu-man right, we are unlikely to move towards full employment, we are going in the opposite direction. Decent work is a desirable goal, but while the working conditions of workers are decided within the logic of the market, we are not going to achieve decent work, as history has shown us clearly enough. After all, the employment and labor goals of the GIH are well written, but we do not see a firm political will in their favor and le-gal measures of that size.; Garapen Iraunkorrerako 8. Helburuak (GIH) aski ezagunak diren kontzeptu sozioekonomiko sakonen alde egiten du, guztiontzako sustatu nahian hazkunde ekonomiko jarraitua, inklusiboa eta jasangarria, enplegu betea eta produktiboa eta lan duina. Artikulu honetan, kontzeptu nagusi horien irakurketa egiten saiatu gara, lau atal desberdinduz: hazkunde ekonomiko jarraitua, enplegua eta lana, enplegu betea, eta lan duina. Gure balorazioa oso kritikoa izan da. Hazkunde ekonomiko jarraituari dagokionez, paradigma klasikoan mugitzen da, Barne Produktu Gordinaren eta per capita errentaren inguruan. Tresna horiekin nekez birbideratuko da egungo eredu ekonomiko suntsitzailea ekonomia jasangarri baterantz eta nekez ezabatuko da pobrezia, helburuak dioen moduan. Per capita errenta neurtzaile oso mugatua da: ez du balio desberdintasunak eta pobrezia neurtzeko. Per capita errentaren alternatiba gisa, Giza Garapearen Indizea proposatuko genuke, baina 8. GIHak ez du aintzat hartu. Enplegu beteari dagokionez, egungo eredu liberala aldatu ezean, enplegua esparru ekonomikoko faktore produktiboa izanik oinarrizko giza eskubide bat baino gehiago, nekez joko dugu enplegu beterantz: kontrako norabidean goaz. Lan duina helburu desiragarria da, baina, langileen lan-baldintzak merkatu-logikaren barruan erabakitzen diren bitartean, ez dugu lan duinik lortuko, historiak aski argi erakutsi digun bezala. Azken finean, GIHen enplegu- eta lan-helburuak ondo idatzita daude, baina haien aldeko borondate politiko irmorik eta horren tamainako neurri juridikorik ez dugu ikusten.

Artikulu honek Nazio Batuen 2030 Agendako Garapen Iraunkorrerako Helburuen (GIH) artean zazpigarrena aztertzen du: biztanle ororentzat energia garbia eskuragarri izatea. Helburu hori hainbat lurraldetan inplementatzeko eta haren jarraipena egiteko bideak aztertu dira, baita zenbait autoreren arabera dituen alde onak edo potentzialtasunak eta argi-ilunak ere. Azken urteotako literaturak GIHen jarraipenari buruz zer dioen berrikusi, eta, horren ostean, 7. GIHaren ezarpena makro eskalatik mikro mailara nolakoa izaten ari den aztertu da, Europatik hasita, Euskal Autonomia Erkidegoaren (EAE) kasu konkretua ardatz gisa hartuz. Horretarako, askotariko gobernu mailetan (besteak beste, Europar Batasuna, Espainiako estatuko gobernua, Eusko Jaurlaritza, foru-aldundiak eta udalak) 7. GIHa lortze aldera zehaztu diren xede eta adierazleak alderatu dira, baita haien aniztasuna erakutsi ere, eta 2017. urtera bitartean adierazle horiek izandako bilakaera aztertu da. Azterketatik ondorioztatu da Europa mailan helburuak estandarizatu diren arren helburuok estatu-mailan eta handik beherakoetan ez dutela adierazle nahikorik ezarririko xedeen jarraipen osatua egiteko. Hala, adierazleak estandarizatzen eta datu-iturriak hobetzen jarraitzeko beharra ikusi da, hots, agerian utzi da horrek konparaketak egiteko dakartzan zailtasunak.; This article examines the 2030 Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goal 7: affordable and clean energy for all. It has been analyzed the ways in which this goal is being implemented in different territories and how it is planned to be monitored, as well as its pros and cons, according to different authors. The literature of recent years about monitoring of SDGs has been compared, having as well a full look at how the implementation of the 7th SDG has been planned from the macro scale to the micro level, starting from the Eu-ropean frame and having as scope the Basque Country. To this end, they have been compared the targets and indicators set by govern-ments of different levels (including the European Union, the Spanish State Government, the Basque Government, the Basque Provincial Councils and City Councils) for achieving SDG 7, showing their diversity. The evolution of these indicators has been examined up to 2017, and finally, the findings made have been contrasted with the analyzed literature. It has been concluded that, although there is a standardization at the European level, there is a lack of indicators at state and provincial level to monitor the achievements in a compre-hensive integral way. It has been detected the need to standardize indicators and improve data sources, revealing difficulties in making comparisons.

The environmental impact of drugs or pharmaceuticals is a topic of growing concern. Drugs have been found in all environmental compartments, especially in water. Although the main route of access to the environment for drugs is related to consumption and resulting excretion, emissions can occur in any of the complex life cycle of pharmaceuticals. Apart from their ecotoxicological effects, pharmaceuticals in the environment can also affect human health (e.g: antibiotic resistance). In this article, we will focus on the potential influence of drug pollution on the 6th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), describing possible solutions. SDGs have a special relevance in developing countries, where water is more polluted with drugs. The “One-Health” approach, which considers the relationship between humans, animals, and the shared environment, is needed to understand drug pollution. Collaboration of all the stakeholders involved in the life cycle of drugs is mandatory. Considering the cost-effectiveness and sustainability of the measures will be necessary to prevent drug pollution from becoming an obstacle to obtaining the 6th SDG.; Medikamentuek naturan duten inpaktua geroz eta interes handiagoa pizten duen gaia da. Ezaguna da medikamentuak eta haien hondakinak ingurumen-konpartimentu guztietan aurkitu direla, batez ere uretan. Medikamentuak ingurumenera iristeko bide nagusia kontsumoarekin eta haren ondoriozko iraizpenarekin dago erlazionatuta. Nolanahi ere, medikamentuen bizi-zikloaren beste faseetan ere gerta daitezke ingurumenerako igorpenak. Farmako-kutsadurak eragina du ingurumenean dauden izaki bizidunetan, eta baita giza osasunean ere. Antibiotikoekiko erresistentzien gorakada da horren adibideetako bat. Bestalde, uraren erabilgarritasuna, saneamendua eta higienea giza eskubideak badira ere, mundu osoko biztanle guztiek ez dauzkate bermatuta. Artikulu honetan, Garapen Iraunkorrerako 6. Helburua (GIH) -hots, ur garbia eta saneamendua- eta haren erronkak aztertuko ditugu, farmakokutsaduraren ikuspuntutik, konponbideak aztertuz. GIHek garrantzi berezia dute garapen-bidean dauden herrialdeetan; hain zuzen ere, uretako farmakokutsadura gehien dutenetan. Farmakokutsadura ulertu eta aztertzeko, "One-Health" ikuspuntua bultzatu beharra dago, hau da, osasun bakarrean bateratzea gizakion osasuna, animaliena eta partekatzen dugun ingurumenarena, eta, arazoari aurre egiteko, nahitaezkoa da medikamentuen bizi-zikloan parte hartzen duten eragile guztien elkarlana. Farmakokutsadura 6. GIHa lortzeko oztopo bihur ez dadin, beharrezkoa da lekuan lekuko osasun publikoaren beharrez gain neurrien kostu-eraginkortasuna ere kontuan hartzea, neurrien eraginkortasuna ziurtatzeko.

Although gender equality is a fundamental human right, there is no country which has achieved full and effective equality. Inequality between genders is reproduced through the patriarchal system, which in both public and private areas regulates the powers of relationship between genders in detriment for women, and systematically excludes women from determined social institutions. The purpose of this article is to bring into our immediate context, the factors of discrimination that involve the challenges of the 5. Goal of sustainable development, which is Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls. For this purpose, after selective search and critically reading of documents on the subject, a summary and an adjustment of the information was made. Presented gender discrimination factors include those to conduct at a more individual and more collective level, such as gender violence, harmful cultural practices, burden of caring, failure to fulfill sexual and reproductive rights, poor technological use and land ownership and predominantly in the political field, political discrimination, the scarce presence of policies promoting gender equality and empowerment and participation in high-level decision-making institutions. This work provides an explanation of the fundamental concepts of the goal of sustainable development. Then the challenges are examined individually, by examining the different discriminatory factors that are presented through their respective indications.; Genero-berdintasuna oinarrizko giza eskubide bat bada ere, ez dago berdintasun oso eta efektiboa lortu duen herrialderik. Generoen desberdintasuna sistema patriarkalaren bitartez erreproduzitzen da, eta sistema horrek, era berean, eremu publiko zein pribatuan emakumeen kalterako generoen arteko erlazio-botereak arautu, eta emakumeak sistematikoki uzten ditu gizarte-erakunde erabakitzaileetatik kanpo. Garapen Jasangarrirako 5. Helburua hizpide hartuta, hots, genero-berdintasuna lortzea eta emakume nahiz neskato guztiak ahalduntzea, artikulu honen xedea helburu horren erronkek barneratzen dituzten diskriminazio-faktoreak gure inguru hurbilean edota mundu mailan kokatzea izango da. Horretarako, gaiari buruzko dokumentuen bilaketa selektibo bat egin eta kritikoki irakurri ostean, informazioa laburtu eta egokitu da. Erronkek mahai gainean jartzen dituzte maila indibidual eta kolektiboan zuzendu beharreko diskriminazio-faktoreak, hala nola genero-indarkeria, praktika kultural kaltegarriak, zaintzen gainpisua, sexu- eta ugalketa-eskubideak ez betetzea, teknologiaren erabilera eta lurraren jabetza eskasa, eta eremu nagusiki politikoan gertatzen diren diskriminazio politikoa eta goi mailako erakunde erabakitzaileetako parte-hartzea eta genero-berdintasuna eta ahalduntzea sustatzeko politiken urritasuna. Lan honetan, lehenik, Garapen Jasangarrirako 5. Helburua ulertzeko oinarrizko kontzeptuak azaltzen dira. Gero, helburuaren erronkak banaka aztertu ondoren, bakoitzaren adierazleen bitartez agerian geratzen diren diskriminazio-faktoreak azaleratzen dira.
