Rodríguez Gómez, Gonzalo

We actually think over new tecnologies have a chance to come up against establishment and that´s the reason why we´ll use it as a resourceful media to fight in opposition to technocracy; ¿Conocemos realmente el impacto que ha tenido la contracultura en nuestra historia?

Ertibil Bizkaia and Arteshop Bilbao are two publicly financed institutional calls for the promotion of emerging artists in the context of the Basque Country, with both distinct and similar characteristics. In this paper, we examine the regulations that base the functioning of these calls to analyse the distribution of the budgets both programmes allocate to compensate for the work of the participant artists, during the period from 2012 and 2016. We also pay attention to the results of the competitive tenders of the artists in terms of concurrence and participation.

Este artículo pretende abrir el debate para poder identificar estas prácticas y crear un espacio de reflexión que pueda aportar las soluciones necesarias entre todos lo involucrados.; Society considers museums to be neutral, positive and beneficial institutions, as well as organized and standardized spaces where objective and scientific truth can be found. The same principle applies to the area of Contemporary Art: the public visits a museum with the purpose of understanding what Art means nowadays. Nevertheless, museumizing Contemporary Art is an aporia. This conflict makes museums in this area dangerously prone to distortion when it comes to the acquisition and deposit of works of art, a characteristic which ultimately leads to corruption. This paper aims at launching a discussion that should make possible to identify that sort of practices and create a space for reflection allowing to provide the relevant solutions with the collaboration of all stakeholders.

Dicha clasificación bascula sobre las categorías de objeto y documento.; Performance art has been defined as an artistic action determined by its ephemeral condition. This has meant that the incorporation of performance into the institutional and commercial circuits of art has been mainly served by its materialization. Academic attention to this phenomenon has mainly focused on the category of documentation and has often done so with a historical vocation. This article, driven by a typological and non-diachronic interest, proposes a classification of the various ways of materializing performance that is not based on the type of support of its record (video, photography, etc.), but, more broadly, in the spatio-temporal relationship between performance and various materials. This classification is divided on the categories of object and document.
