Estudio y análisis de metodologías para la medida de la QoS en el acceso a Internet.

Abstract

[ES]En este trabajo fin de grado se presenta un estudio de diferentes metodologías para la estimación de la velocidad de acceso a Internet. En el estudio no sólo se analizan las metodologías de las herramientas más extendidas sino que también se tienen en cuenta los factores de influencia principales examinándose su afección global en los resultados obtenidos. Los resultados de este estudio permitirán a los distintos agentes implicados contar con información de interés para el desarrollo de sus propias herramientas. Además, las conclusiones del estudio podrían conducir, en un futuro próximo, a la estandarización de una metodología unificada, por parte de organismos internacionales del sector, que permita comparativas de datos así como la verificación de los acuerdos de nivel de servicio, de interés para usuarios, operadores y reguladores.

[EN]In this EOG work a study is introduced about the different methodologies for the estimation of Internet access speed. In the study, the methodologies of the most used tools are not only analysed, but also the main influential factors are taken into account by examining their global effect on the results. The results of this study will allow the various stakeholders to have information for the development of their own tools. In addition, the conclusions of the study could lead, to the standardization of a unified methodology in the future, by international institutions of the sector, which will allow the comparatives of the data as well as the verification of the service level agreements of interest for users, operators and regulators.

[EU]Gradu Amaierako Lan (GrAL) honetan Interneteko sarbide-abiadura balioztatzeko metodologia ezberdinei buruzko ikerketa aurkezten da. Ikerketan ez dira bakarrik metodologia zabalduenen erremintak aztertzen, baita metodologietan eragina duten faktore nagusiak ere kontuan hartzen dira lortutako emaitzetan izan duten efektu globala ikertuz. Ikerlan honetako emaitzei esker interes-talde ezberdinek informazio interesgarria erabili ahal izango dute haien berezko errimentak garatzeko. Horrez gain, ikerlanaren konklusioek sektoreko nazioarteko erakundeak metodologia bateratu baten estandarizaziora eraman ditzakete etorkizunean. Metodologia horri esker erabiltzaile, operadore eta arauzko erakundeentzat interesgarriak izan daitezken datuen konparatibak eta zerbitzumailako akordioen egiaztapena egin ahal izango litzateke.
