Análisis de las boyas océano-meteorológicas de la Costa Vasca para el diseño de un prototipo de la energía undimotriz

Abstract

[EU]Aurkezturiko lan hau Euskal Herriko kostaldeko buila ozeano-meteorologikoen ikerketa bat da, energia undimotriza lortzen duen prototipo baten diseinuan kontuan hartuko dena. Eskala global batean egin den ikerketa batek aurkeztu du, energia aprobetxatzeko erabiltzen diren alternatiba desberdinek kalte handiak jasaten dituztela itsasoaren baldintza gogorrak direla-eta; beraz, oso komenigarria da aldez-aurretik instalatuko diren tokiaren ikerketa bat egitea, egoera gogor hauetatik babestuko duen mekanismo bat diseinatzerakoan kontuan hartzeko. Horretarako, helburu nagusitzat hartzen da datu-base historikoen bilketa eta esplotazioa, Eusko Jaurlaritzako builekin (EVE eta Euskalmet) erlazionaturik dauden itsas aldagaien ikerketa. Oraingoz, azterketa guztiak buila hauek ematen dituzten orduko datuekin egiten dira, bigarren helburutzat izanik itsasoak jasaten dituen aldaketak ordu baten baino gutxiagoan. Lanak zailtasun gradu handi bat aurkezten du, datu-base historikoen manipulazioari dagokionez: oso datu base handiak dira, jatorri desberdinetakoak eta helburu ezberdinekin, zeintzuk operatiba ezberdinetan ikusten diren; ondorioz, homogeneizazio falta datu-baseetan. Hori dela eta, bigarren helburu bat sortzen da, datuen erabilgarritasunarekin eta informazioaren fluxuarekin erlazionatuta.

[ES]El presente trabajo es un estudio de las boyas océano-meteorológicas de la Costa Vasca con el fin de que los resultados sean considerados en el diseño de un prototipo de la energía undimotriz. Un análisis de las distintas alternativas utilizadas a nivel mundial para la captación de energía ha revelado que los sistemas presentan grandes daños como consecuencia de las duras condiciones a las que se someten estos dispositivos, siendo muy recomendable un estudio previo de la zona que permita incorporar al diseño un mecanismo que le proteja en condiciones adversas. Para ello, se plantea como objetivo principal la recopilación y explotación de la base de datos histórica, variables asociadas al oleaje procedente de las boyas del Gobierno Vasco (EVE y Euskalmet). Actualmente los estudios se limitan a datos horarios procedentes de estas boyas siendo un objetivo secundario el estudio de las variaciones del oleaje en intervalos inferiores a una hora. El trabajo presenta un gran grado de dificultad, asociado a la manipulación de las grandes bases de datos históricas, procedentes de diferentes instituciones con objetivos muy distintos que se reflejan en las diferentes operativas; y por tanto, en la falta de homogenización en las bases. Por lo que surge otro objetivo secundario, que está asociado al análisis previo de la disponibilidad de datos y del flujo de la información.

[EN]This work is a study of the Basque Coast ocean meteorological buoys in order to consider the results in the design of a prototype of the waves energy. An analysis of the various alternatives used worldwide for capturing energy has revealed that systems have extensive damage as a result of the harsh conditions of the sea. So it is highly recommended a preliminary study of the area allowing to incorporate into the design a mechanism that will protect it in adverse conditions. Therefore arises as a main objective the collection and exploitation of the historical database, variables associated with the waves coming from the Basque Government (EVE and Euskalmet) buoys. Currently studies are limited to hourly data from these buoys, being a secondary objective the study of the variations of the waves in less than one hour intervals. The work presents a great degree of difficulty associated with the manipulation of large data bases historical, coming from different institutions with different objectives that are reflected in the different operational; and therefore, in the lack of homogenization on the bases. So it is another secondary objective, which is associated with the previous analysis of the availability of data and the flow of information.
