Diseño y cálculo de una cubierta para la plaza Von Siemens

Abstract

El principal objetivo de este trabajo es el estudio de las posibles cubiertas que se podrían diseñar para la plaza Von Siemens, ubicada en el interior del edificio de la Escuela de Ingeniería de Bilbao. Se trata de un proyecto basado en el Código Técnico de Edificación (CTE) y llevado a cabo sobre dicho edificio, inaugurado en el año 1960. Para ello, se analizarán los diferentes materiales aptos para su construcción y se estudiarán las múltiples cargas que aparecerían en esta estructura. Ayudado por la aplicación software de ingeniería CYPE y habiendo recopilado la suficiente información, se ha desarrollado el trabajo expuesto a continuación.

The main objective of this work is the study of possible roofs which could be designed in the Von Siemens square, located in the interior of the building of the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao. It is a project based on the Technical Code for Buildings (TCB) and carried out on the mentioned building, inaugurated in 1960. For this, different possible materials will be analyzed and the multiple loads which would appear in this structure will be studied. Aided by CYPE engineering software application and having collected sufficient information, the work exhibited below has been developed.
