Mitologiaren ikaskuntza ikusizko eta genero ikuspegitik Haur Hezkuntzan

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo dar lugar a los mitos en la etapa de Educación Infantil, a la vez que trabajar la visión crítica ante el trato despectivo que se le da a la mujer en éstos. La mitología nos da las claves para entender nuestra cultura, ya que las ideas que se transmiten en los relatos condicionan el inconsciente colectivo. Por lo tanto, en vez de apartar los mitos originales, se plantean actividades para identificar los arquetipos antiguos y para poner en duda los valores que transmiten, con la ayuda del lenguaje visual. Con esto, se subraya la importancia de la cultura visual, que tiene una enorme influencia en el mundo tecnológico actual y que está llena de arquetipos de la mitología antigua. Por lo tanto, la escuela puede ser la responsable de trabajar esas imágenes que rodean a l@s niñ@s y transformar su mensaje a través de respetuosos valores no sexistas, siendo la mitología un recurso inmejorable para ello.

[EU] Hurrengo lanak Haur Hezkuntzako etapan mitoei lekua ematea du helburu, hauetan emakumearenganako mespretxuzko trataeraren aurrean ikuspegi kritikoa landu bitartean. Mitologiak gure kultura bera ulertzeko gakoak ematen dizkigu, istorioetan transmititzen diren ideiek inkontziente kolektiboa baldintzatzen baitute. Horrenbestez, jatorrizko mitoak baztertu ordez, antzinako arketipo horiek identifikatzeko eta transmititzen dituzten balioak zalantzan jartzeko ariketak planteatzen dira, ikusizko hizkuntzaren laguntzaz bideratuak. Honekin, ikusizko kulturak duen garrantzia azpimarratzen da, egungo mundu teknologikoan izugarrizko eragina daukana eta antzinako mitologiaren arketipoz josita dagoena. Hortaz, eskolaren zeregina umeak inguratzen dituzten irudi horiek lantzea eta haien mezua errespetuzko balore ez sexisten bidez bilakatzea izan daiteke, mitologiaren alorra horretarako baliabide ezin hobea delarik.

[EN] The present work aims to bring myths to Pre-Primary Education stage, while working on the critical view of the derogatory treatment given to women in these. Mythology gives us the keys to understand our culture, because the ideas transmitted in the stories determine the collective unconscious. Therefore, instead of setting aside the original myths, some activities are proposed to identify ancient archetypes and to think about the values they transmit, with the help of visual language. This underlines the importance of visual culture, which has an enormous influence on nowaday’s technological world and which is full of archetypes from ancient mythology. Consequently, the school can be the responsible for working on those images that surround children and transforming their message through non-sexist and respectful values, being the mythology an excellent resource for this.
