Abstract

[EN] Systematic review on hypothermic machine perfusion in kidney transplantation storage versus actual storage in cold ischemia. The introduction also includes basics on kidney transplantation and overview of hypothermic machine perfusion and storage in cold ischemia. The review itself includes posible improvements on two main factors in kidney transplantation, an additional estimation to assess graft viability and the economic impact of including hypothermic machine perfusion in national health systems.
