Atzerriko haur adoptatuak eta eskola

Abstract

[EUS] Oro har, atzerriko haur adoptatuei buruzko informazio gutxi dago (eskoletan, irakasleei zuzendutako formazioan, etab.) Kontuan hartuta oso garrantzitsua dela kolektibo ahul horren egoera behar bezala ezagutzea, lan honetan azterketa bat egiten da guraso adoptiboen eta adoptatutako haurren bizipenak bilduz. Era berean, haur horiek beren ezaugarri fisikoengatik jasaten duten diskriminazio eta arrazakeria aztertzen dira. Horretaz gain, adopzioak alderdi sozial, emozional eta akademikoan sortutako eraginak ere aztertu ditugu; hala nola, autoestimu arazoak, atxikimendu-nahasmendua (“trastorno del apego” deritzona), trauma, etab. Hori guztia behar bezala bideratzeko, eskolak zer nolako inplikazioa izan beharko lukeen eztabaidatzen da, ume adoptatuen premiak bermatzeko, baita beren familienak ere.

[ES] Dada la escasa información en torno a los niños extranjeros adoptados (a nivel escolar, a nivel de formación del profesorado, etc.) y considerando la importancia que tiene visibilizar la situación de este colectivo, este trabajo realiza una investigación sobre el tema a través de la recogida de testimonios de padres y madres adoptivos y niños adoptados sobre sus vivencias. Así mismo, se examina la discriminación y racismo que sufren dichos alumnos por sus rasgos físicos. Por otro lado, analizamos las consecuencias emocionales, sociales y académicas que la adopción ha tenido en estas personas: por ejemplo, problemas de autoestima, trastorno del apego, trauma, etc. Para poder encaminar la situación, se discute la implicación que debería tener la escuela para saciar las necesidades tanto de los alumnos como de sus familias.

[EN] Given the scarce information on foreign adopted children (at school level, teacher training level, etc.) and considering the importance of making the situation of this group visible, this work carries out an investigation on the subject through the collection of testimonies of adoptive parents and adopted children about their experiences. It also examines the discrimination and racism suffered by these students because of their physical features. On the other hand, we analyze the emotional, social and academic consequences that adoption has had on these people: for example, self-esteem problems, attachment disorder, trauma, etc. In order to address the situation, we discuss the involvement that the school should have in order to meet the needs of both the students and their families.
