El sector del automóvil en España y en el mundo

Abstract

[spa] El sector del automóvil ha revolucionado la sociedad desde sus inicios, aportando modelos productivos dentro de la evolución industrial mundial y siendo el causante de procesos de deslocalización que han llevado a la industria automotriz a diferentes regiones del mundo. El desarrollo del sector del automóvil tiene una fuerte influencia en la economía mundial y así lo identifican los países que poseen este tipo de industria, quienes buscan impulsarla por sus implicancias en variables como el PIB y el empleo. Este trabajo busca analizar el contexto en el que se desenvuelve el sector del automóvil y su desarrollo durante la última década, tanto a nivel mundial como nacional, determinando su importancia en la economía, consecuencia del efecto tractor que ejerce sobre otros sectores. Adicionalmente, identifica las principales tendencias que se desarrollan en la actualidad como, la conectividad, la autonomía o el desarrollo de coches con energías eficientes y finalmente, revisa también las iniciativas que han establecido los estados con el objetivo de incrementar la competitividad en sus industrias. [eng] The automotive sector has revolutionized society since its inception, creating production models within the global industrial evolution and developing the automotive industry in different regions all over the world trough relocation processes. The development of the automotive sector has huge implications in world economy. For this reason, countries which have this kind of industry, try to boost it in order to improve related economic variables such as GDP and employment. The aim of this paper is to analyze the context in which the automotive sector operates and its development during the last decade, both globally and nationally. Moreover, it tries to determine the importance of automotive sector in economy, as a consequence of carryover efect on other sectors and identifies the main trends , such as conectivity, autonomy and the development of sustainable and efficient cars. Finally, this paper also reviews the initiatives that states have established to increase the competitiveness of their own industries. [eng]
