Educación Alternativa: desarrollo de la infancia y la comunidad. Estudio de un caso

Abstract

Esta Tesis Doctoral indaga en la importancia que tiene la integración en la comunidad de cualquier proyecto educativo, tomando como referencia la producción social de la ciudad postmoderna y sus implicaciones en el desarrollo educativo de la infancia, a través de un estudio de caso del Espaciode Aprendizaje Laboragune. En el apartado teórico, Situamos el debate actual en torno a la crisis del modelo educativo y como, desde el movimiento de educación alternativa, se están construyendo otros modelos, desmenuzando los fundamentos en los se asienta precisamente este tipo de proyectos educativos. También profundizamos en las transformaciones que han sufrido las ciudades y sus implicaciones en el ámbito comunitario.Por ello, el objetivo de este trabajo ha sido analizar la influencia de un espacio de aprendizaje alternativo y de corte comunitario en el desarrollo educativo de la infancia. Al analizar la influencia que tienen este tipo de proyectos en la infancia también queremos identificar los factores que pueden ayudar o entorpecer el desarrollo de proyectos educativos alternativos en la comunidado elaborar orientaciones para una educación transformadora en los diferentes contextos educativos. Todo ello, para aportar conocimiento a la comunidad científica y educativa sobre la importancia del enfoque comunitario en la construcción de una alternativa, o innovación, al sistema escolar, de carácter inclusivo. El estudio realizado ha sido cualitativo, a través del método de estudio de caso, a través de diferentes técnicas de obtención de datos como el análisis documental, entrevistas en profundidad, observación participante e historia de vida. Del dicho análisis se obtienen una serie de resultados relacionados con el objeto de la investigación. También se señalan algunas conclusiones que arroja esta investigación y aportamos algunas orientaciones.

Atal teorikoan,egungo eztabaida hezkuntza ereduaren krisiaren inguruan kokatzen dugu, eta,hezkuntza alternatiboaren mugimendutik, beste eredu batzuk eraikitzen aridirela, hezkuntza-proiektu mota horren oinarriak xehatuz. Halaber, hiriek jasandituzten eraldaketetan sakontzen dugu, bai eta komunitate eremuan izandituzten ondorioetan ere.Hori dela eta, lan honen helburua izan da "ikasteko espazio alternatibo etakomunitario batek haurren hezkuntza-garapenean duen eragina aztertzea". Erahorretako proiektuek haurtzaroan duten eragina aztertzean, komunitateanhezkuntza-proiektu alternatiboen garapena lagundu edo oztopa dezaketenfaktoreak ere identifikatu nahi ditugu, edo hezkuntza-testuinguruetanhezkuntza eraldatzaile baterako orientabideak landu. Hori guztia, zientzia etahezkuntza-komunitateari eskola-sistemarako alternatiba inklusibo bat edoberrikuntza bat eraikitzean ikuspegi komunitarioak duen garrantziari buruzezagutza emateko asmoz. Egindako azterketa kualitatiboa izan da, kasuaazterketa metodoa, datuak lortzeko hainbat teknika erabili izan dira, hala nola,dokumentuen analisia, sakoneko elkarrizketak, behaketa parte-hartzailea etabizi-historia. Azterketa horretatik ikerketaren xedearekin lotutako zenbaitemaitza lortzen dira. Ikerketa honek dakartzan ondorio batzuk ere adierazi dira,eta orientazio batzuk eman ditugu.

This doctoral thesis investigates the importance of integration in thecommunity of any educational project, taking as a reference the socialproduction of the postmodern city and its implications in the educationaldevelopment of children, through a case study of the Laboragune LearningSpace. In the theoretical section, we situate the current debate around thecrisis of the educational model and how, from the alternative educationmovement, other models are being constructed, breaking down thefoundations on which precisely this type of educational project is based. Wealso look in depth at the transformations that cities have undergone and theirimplications in the community sphere.For this reason, the objective of this work has been "to analyze the influence ofan alternative learning space with a community dimension on the educationaldevelopment of children". In analyzing the influence that this type of projecthas on children, we also want to identify the factors that can help or hinder thedevelopment of alternative educational projects in the community or toelaborate guidelines for a transformative education in the different educationalcontexts. All of this is done to provide the scientific and educational communitywith knowledge about the importance of the community approach in buildingan alternative, or innovation, to the school system, of an inclusive nature. Thestudy was qualitative, using the case study method, through different datacollection techniques such as documentary analysis, in-depth interviews,participant observation and life history. From this analysis a series of resultsrelated to the object of the investigation are obtained. We also point out someof the conclusions of this research and provide some guidelines.
