Análisis del tratamiento de la muerte en la Literatura Infantil

Abstract

[ES] La muerte está presente en todos los aspectos de la vida. Por eso, este trabajo indaga en la relevancia y la presencia de esta en la literatura infantil. Mediante la literatura infantil los niños y las niñas pueden entender la muerte, convirtiéndose así, esta literatura, en una pieza clave para comprender la realidad y ayudarlos en los duelos por la pérdida de un ser querido. Por medio del análisis de nueve obras que abordan el tema de la muerte, se busca analizar si cumplen la función de tratar la muerte de manera clara, sin emplear ningún tipo de tabú, teniendo como finalidad que los niños y las niñas entiendan y realicen el duelo.

[EN] Death is present in all aspects of life. Therefore, this paper investigates its relevance and presence in children's literature. Through these writings, boys and girls can understand death, thus making this genre a key piece to comprehend reality and help them in the mourning of the loss of a loved one. Through the analysis of nine works that deal with the subject of death, we seek to analyze if they fulfill the function of dealing with this topic in a clear way, without using any kind of taboo, with the purpose of helping children understand and carry mourn into effect.
