Abstract
The article interprets the algorithm as imaginary, that is, as a complex of meanings, affects and desires that unites - through dimensions of belief, magic, fetish, secret knowledge, liminality and trust - the individual experience and the social system, thus tying the "miracle" of the everyday effectiveness of the devices to the project of the society that sustains it.
