El trabajo en la economía popular, social y solidaria en la Argentina: limitaciones de la protección y demanda de derechos

Abstract

The article wonders about how and how much the associative, self-managed and self-organized work of the popular, social and solidarity economy (EPSS) in Argentina in the second decade of the 21st century is protected. To answer it, it begins by pointing out the statistical invisibility of these forms of work and synthesizing the main sources of estimation built up to now. Then, it specifies the methodological framework referred to the analysis of the social protection of work in the EPSS. Next, it reconstructs the future of work in the different components of the EPSS, its organizational strategies and its rights demands. Continuing, it dwells on the current protection modalities and the compensatory mechanisms proposed by the workers’ organizations, closing with the question of the protection horizons to-wards which the demands and claims are directed, and the convergences and divergences that arise along the way. intertwine between popular projects and those promoted by the State.; El artículo se pregunta sobre cómo y cuánto está protegido el trabajo asociativo, auto-gestionado y auto-organizado propio de la economía popular, social y solidaria (EPSS) en la Argentina en la segunda década del siglo xxi. Para responderlo comienza señalando la invisibilidad estadística de estas formas de trabajo y sintetizando las principales fuentes de estimación construidas hasta el momento. Luego, precisa el encuadre metodológico referido al análisis de la protección social del trabajo en la EPSS. Seguidamente, reconstruye el devenir del trabajo en los distintos componentes de la EPSS, sus estrategias de organización y sus demandas de derechos. A continuación se detiene en las modalidades de protección vigentes y los mecanismos compensatorios propuestos por las organizaciones de trabajadorxs, cerrando con la cuestión de los horizontes de protección hacia los que se dirigen las demandas y reivindicaciones, y las convergencias y divergencias que en el camino se entrelazan entre los proyectos populares y los impulsados por el Estado.
