Azken aldiko ikerketetan Hiri Drainatze Sistema Jasangarriak (HDSJ) hirietako isurketa-uren bolumena murrizteko eta beren kalitatea hobetzeko tresnatzat aurkezten dira. Funtzioaren arabera, lau multzo bereizten dira: jatorria kontrolatzen dutenak, abiadura moteltzen dutenak, biltegiratze-sistemak eta infiltrazio-sistemak. Artikulu honen helburua izan da HDSJ-ek isurketa-uren kalitatean izan dezaketen eragina ebaluatzen duten ikerketen gainbegiratu bibliografikoa egitea, eta, horrekin batera, EAEko egoera aztertu da. Isurketa-uretako kutsatzaile nagusien artean metal astunak, ongarriak eta konposatu organikoak daude. Konposatu horiek uretan disolbatuta edo partikuletan adsorbatuta egon daitezke, eta bi formak murrizteko metodoek dekantazio-etapa eta iragazketa-etapa izaten dituzte: lehenak partikuletan adsorbatuta daudenak murrizten ditu eta bigarrenak bi formatakoak. Bi etapa horiek integratuta dituzten HDSJ-ek emaitza onak eman dituzte. Sis-tema ohikoenei dagokienez, zoladura iragazkorrek eraginkortasuna erakutsi dute metal astunak eta fosfatoak murrizteko, eta bioerretentzio-sistemak ere tresna interesgarriak izan daitezke, landaredia-geruzak isurketa-urak xurgatzen eta eraldatzen lagundu baitezake. Jasangarritasunaren aldeko proiektuen bidez, hainbat HDSJ ezarri dira Gipuzkoan; esaterako, Legazpiko zein Donostiako Udalek zoladura iragazkorrak ipini dituzte zenbait aparkalekutan eta sistema horien eraginkortasuna ebaluatzeko aukera ematen dute, HDSJ-ak zeharkatu aurreko eta ondorengo ur-laginen kalitatea alderatuz.; Latest research has presented Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) as a useful tool in order to reduce runoff volumes and improve their quality. There are four types depending on their purpose: source control, runoff deceleration, runoff storage and infiltration systems. The objective of this article has been to review the bibliography about the influence of SUDS on the quality of urban runoff and the situation of EAE has been analysed. The main pollutants in urban runoff include heavy metals, nutrients and organic compounds. Those pollutants can be found dissolved or adsorbed to particulates and methods intended to remove both forms include a decantation step and a filtration step, the first for the removal of particulates and the latter for the reduction of both. SUDS which include both steps have shown good results. In regard to the most common systems, permeable pavements have been proved to be efficient removing heavy metals and phosphates and bio-retention systems might also be interesting tools, since runoff can be absorbed and transformed by the vegetation layer. Due to sustainability projects, some SUDS have been placed in Gipuzkoa; for instance, permeable pave-ments have been built in Donostia and Legazpi which can provide the option of evaluating the efficiency of SUDS, comparing the quality of water samples before and after passing through the SUDS.
