Osserda o acaso Olerda, posible topónimo en la inscripción de Irulegi

Abstract

This brief note offers an interpretation as a toponym of the term oTiŕtan attested in the recently found Palaeo-Hispanic inscription from the hillfort of Irulegi (Aranguren, Na-varre), which is justified both by its lexical structure and by the identification of a suffix of loca-tive value. The value of the sign T, known to date on several Vasconic coins, is under discussion, suggesting the possibility that it corresponds to the digraph -lt- common in Iberian epigraphy. In short, it would be a toponym of Iberian origin with Basque inflectional morphology.; En esta breve nota se ofrece una interpretación como topónimo del término oTiŕtan de la recién hallada inscripción paleohispánica procedente del castro de Irulegi (Aranguren, Navarra), que se justifica tanto por su estructura léxica como por la identificación de un sufijo de valor locativo. Se discute el valor del signo T, conocido hasta ahora en varias monedas vasconas, y la posibilidad de que corresponda al dígrafo -lt- habitual en la epigrafía ibérica.
