Acerca del posible y derivado carácter tecnológico de ciertos tipos óseos debitados: los casos de muescas, «écaillés» y retocadores

Abstract

[ES] Los análisis efectuados sobre una serie de tipos óseos debitados (muescas, "écaillés" y retocadores) pertenecientes a los niveles musteroides y auriñacoides de los yacimientos de Gatzarria (Pays de Soule, Pyrénées Atlantiques) y Abeilles (Montmaurin, Haute Garonne) posibilitan sugerir hipótesis relativas a su causalidad. En este sentido, una gran parte del efectivo global examinado pudiera relacionarse directamente con determinados tratamientos tecnológicos de fractura, talla y retoque.

[EN] The analyses carried out on a series of "débitage" bone types (notches, "écaillés" and retouchers) belonging to the musterian and aurignacian levels of the sites at Gatzarria (Pays de Soule and Pyrénées Atlantiques) and at Abeilles (Montmaurin, Haute Garonne) enable us to formulate some hypotheses concerning their origins. In this sense, we suggest that a large part of the total body examined may be directly related to certain activities associated with fractures, knapping and retouches.
