dc.description.abstract[EU]Doktore-tesi honetan hilekoaren politikak eta genero-harremanak ikertu dira, gorputz-dimentsioari garrantzi osoa emanez. Horretarako, hilekoaren esanahi biomedikoak eta kultural nagusiak aztertzeaz gain, horiei erantzuten dieten politika eta kultura alternatiboak aztertu dira; ikuspegi hegemonikoa auzitan jarri eta irudikapen zein iruditegi alternatibo berriak bilatzen dituzten ekintza eta gorputz-politikak, alegia. Hala, proposamen eta testuinguru horietan gertatzen diren eztabaida feministak, genero-konfigurazioak eta -harremanak ikertu dira, berriemaileen bizipenak eta praktikak prozesu etnografiko sakonaren abiapuntutzat hartuz. Era berean, prozesu horietan harremanek eta afektuek duten garrantzia, aldaketarako sozializazioak zein ezagutzak sortzeko modu kolektiboak ere behatu dira. Analisi honen testuinguru zientifikoa, bereziki, gorputzaren teoria sozialaren, medikuntzaren antropologiaren eta teoria feministaren bitartez ehundu da.
dc.description.abstract[EN]In this doctoral thesis, the politics of menstruation and gender relations have been researched, emphasizing the corporal dimension. For this purpose, as well as researching and analysing the main cultural and biomedical meanings of menstruation, over the years I have observed initiatives that go beyond the hegemonic view of menstruation to create new and alternative representations and imaginaries. Thus, the feminist debates and gender configurations that are developed within those proposals and contexts have been analysed, taking the body practices and experiences of the informants as a starting point of this in-depth ethnographic process. Likewise, the importance of relationships and affects in these processes has been analysed, as well as the collective ways of producing knowledge and socializations for change. The scientific context of this analysis has been explored, especially, through Medical Anthropology, Social Theory of the Body and Feminist Theory.
