Maskulinitate berriak Haur eta Gazte Literaturan: Matias Ploff-en erabakiak, Alex eta Kea airean bezala eleberrietako pertsonaiak biluzten

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar los tipos de masculinidad que aparecen en tres novelas de la literatura infantil y juvenil vasca. Se examinarán varios aspectos de los perso-najes para observar si se plantean masculinidades alternativas alejadas de la masculinidad hegemónica. Para ello se han elegido tres obras ganadoras del Premio Lizardi: Matias Ploff-en erabakiak (1991) de Patxi Zubizarreta, Alex (1994 [1990]) de Mariasun Landa, y Kea airean bezala (2006) de Imanol Azkue. Las tres novelas tienen características textuales similares: los personajes nos cuentan sus inquietudes en primera persona, desde su yo; son del mismo género y tienen una edad parecida; y los tres tienen problemas físico-psicológicos a los que deben enfrentarse para avanzar en la vida. El tratamiento temático y la construcción de los personajes, sin embargo, no siempre son iguales y, profundizando en esas matizaciones, con-cluiremos qué tipos de masculinidades se nos presentan.

[EN] The aim of this paper is to consider the types of masculinity that appear in three Basque novels for children and young people. Attention will be given to different aspects of the characters to see whether they posit alternative masculinities, distinct from the hegemonic form of masculinity. To do this, three Lizardi prize winners were chosen: Matias Ploff-en erabakiak (1991) by Patxi Zubizarreta, Alex (1994 [1990]) by Mariasun Landa, and Kea airean bezala (2006) by Imanol Azkue.All three novels have similar textual features: the characters tell us about their concerns in the first person, from their I; they are the same sex and of similar age; and all three have physical/psychological problems to overcome to get on in life. The thematic approach and the construction of the characters are, however, not the same in all cases, and these nuances will be discussed before concluding what kinds of mas-culinity they present.

[EU] Lan honen helburua euskal haur eta gazte literaturako hiru eleberritan ageri diren mas-kulinitate motak arakatzea da. Pertsonaien hainbat alderdi aztertuz maskulinitate hegemo-nikoetatik kanpo maskulinitate alternatiborik planteatzen den ikusteko, Lizardi Saria iraba-zi duten hiru obra hautatu dira: Patxi Zubizarretaren Matias Ploff-en erabakiak (1991), Mariasun Landaren Alex (1994 [1990]), eta Imanol Azkueren Kea airean bezala (2006). Hiru eleberriek antzeko ezaugarri testualak dituzte: nitasunetik kontatzen dizkigute pertsonaiek bere kezkak; protagonistak genero eta adin bertsukoak dira; eta bizitzan aurrera egiteko eragozpen fisiko-psikologikoak dituzte.
