IKTen arloan STEAM bokazioak sustatzera bideratutako genero-ikuspegia duten hezkuntza-lantegien diseinu eta garapena

Abstract

Historian zehar beti agertu den arazo bat, gaur egun dirauena, STEAM bokazioetan dagoen genero arrakala da. Master Amaierako Lan honetan, honen arrazoi batzuk aurkezteaz gain, momentuko egoeraren azterketa da. Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatean, Bilboko Ingeniaritza eskolan zein Telekomunikazio Teknologiaren Ingeniaritzako Graduan bertan dagoen egoeraren analisi da, hain zuzen ere. Arazo honi aurre egiteko, neska gazteekin egin behar da lan aurreiritziak apurtzen eta IKT-en inguruan interesa bultzatzen. Horregaitik, proiektu honetan hezkuntza-lantegien diseinua eta garapena burutu da, lehen hezkuntzako zein bigarren hezkuntzako neskekin egiteko tailerrak zehazki. Proposatutako ekintzen diseinua egiteko Telekomunikazio Ingeniaritzako Masterrean bereganaturiko ezagutzak erabili dira, puntu puntuko teknologien inguruko tailerrak izatea ahalbidetu duena. Laburbilduz, Telekomunikazio Teknologiaren Ingeniaritzako Graduaren genero-ikuspegiaren araberako azterketa bat egin da, eta azterketa honen emaitzaren harira, hurrengo belaunaldietako neska gazteak gradu honetan eta antzekoetan interesa sortzeko eta ikastetxeetan zein eskolan bertan garatu ahal izango diren tailer multzo baten proposamena da.

Un problema que aparece a lo largo de toda la historia, que permanece a día de hoy, es la diferencia de genero dentro de las vocaciones STEAM. En este Trabajo de Fin de Máster, aparte de analizar algunas de las razones por las que esta desigualdad pervive, se ha hecho un análisis de la situación actual. Más concretamente, un análisis de la situación en la Universidad del País Vasco, la Escuela de Ingeniería de Bilbao y en el Grado en Ingeniería en Tecnología de Telecomunicación. Para hacer frente a este problema, es importante trabajar con las chicas jóvenes para romper con los prejuicios y generarles interés en el área de las TIC. Por ello, en este proyecto se ha realizado un trabajo educativo: talleres para chicas que cursa educación primaria o secundaria. Para realizar el diseño de estas actividades, han sido imprescindibles los conocimientos adquiridos en el Máster de Ingeniería de Telecomunicación, creando así talleres punteros en tecnología. En resumen, este proyecto presenta un análisis sen perspectiva de género del Grado en Ingeniería en Tecnología de Telecomunicación, y teniendo en cuenta el resultado de dicho análisis, se ha desarrollado una propuesta de talleres para generar interés en este grado y similares en las siguientes generaciones.

A problem that appears throughout history, and which remains to this day, is the gender gap within STEAM vocations. In this Master's Thesis, apart from analysing some of the reasons why this inequality persists, an analysis of the current situation has been carried out. More specifically, an analysis of the situation at the University of the Basque Country, the Bilbao School of Engineering and in the Degree in Telecommunications Technology Engineering. To tackle this problem, it is important to work with young girls to break down prejudices and generate interest in the area of ICT. Therefore, in this project, educational work has been carried out: workshops for girls in primary or secondary education. In order to design these activities, the knowledge acquired in the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering has been essential, thus creating cutting-edge workshops in technology. In summary, this project presents a gender analysis of the Degree in Telecommunication Technology Engineering, and taking into account the result of this analysis, a proposal for workshops has been developed to generate interest in this degree and similar in the following generations.
