Light-matter interaction plays an important role in various scientific and technological fields. Basic examples of light-matter interactions include, but are not limited to, reflection, transmission, scattering, absorption, and emission of light. These interactions are crucial for a variety of applications, ranging from the development of optical devices, such as lenses and mirrors, to the creation of energy solutions like solar panels, and even in medical imaging techniques and communication technologies. Essentially, understanding light-matter interactions allows us to manipulate light for various purposes, from enhancing the efficiency of energy conversion systems to improving the performance of electronic and photonic devices.es_ES
