Supercritical CO2 cycles are expected to be more compact than current Rankine cycles and
additionally, they could improve their efficiency, especially at high temperatures.
Two supercritical CO2 cycles are compared in the beginning of this thesis: the recompression cycle
and the partial cooling cycle.
Also, an energy and exergy analysis of both cycles is developed in the present thesis.
New supercritical CO2 cycle configuration is developed in this thesis.
