Las contribuciones vascas a la Hacienda Real en la Edad Moderna: Algunos contrastes provinciales

Abstract

[ES]Este artículo tiene un doble objetivo. E1 primero, ofrecer una panorámica general sobre las contribuciones fiscales de las Provincias Vascas a la Corona durante el Antiguo Régimen,resaltando las diferencias que en ese orden existían entre las tres.El segundo,situar las demandas fiscales regias en el origen de las haciendas provinciales vascas,estableciendo los distintos ritmos que se siguieron en su conformación entre los siglos XVII y XVIII, hasta alcanzar una mayor homologación ya en 1a centuria siguiente.

[EN]His paper has a two twofold aim. On the one hand,it gives a general view of the tax retums to the Crown from each of the three Basque Provinces throughout the Ancient Regime,as well as highlighting the differences among them. On the other,it seeks to locate the origin of the Basque Provincial Treasuries precisely in those royal tax demands which, at the same time, marked the pace of their development throughout the XVII and XVIII centuries until a wider homogeneity was achieved in the following century.
