Aveiroko eta Zamorako zeramika ekoizpenen azterketa arkeometrikoa eta jalkitze-osteko kutsadura-eta eraldaketa-prozesuen identifikazioa
Abstract
In this Doctoral Thesis a thorough study to deepen in the archaeological knowledge about the Medievaland Post-Medieval pottery activity of the north-west of the Iberian Peninsula is carried out. In this way,the existing lack of information regarding the pottery production of these periods in Zamora and Aveirois filled and the provenance of local or regional origin of the ceramics is assessed, shedding light on theregional or supraregional trade and local consumption patterns. For that, on the one hand, an optimizationof the analytical method has been made and an aging experimental approach has been presented, whichincorporates different alteration and contamination ways in ceramics deposited in water environments. These alteration and contamination paths should be considered to avoid incorrect interpretations ondifferent aspects related to ceramics. Besides, the usage of a non-destructive analytical technique (LAMC-ICP-MS) is presented, whose performance is evaluated in a case study addressed in the course of thisresearch. On the other hand, an archaeometric approach of 124 ceramics from Aveiro and Zamora hasbeen performed. In this way, chemical and mineralogical analyses of the pastes have been carried out byICP-MS and XRD and analyses of the microstructure, glaze and pigment characterization have beencarried out by SEM-EDS, Raman, LA-MC-ICP-MS, solution MC-ICP-MS and LA-HR-ICP-MS.In this Doctoral Thesis a thorough study to deepen in the archaeological knowledge about the Medievaland Post-Medieval pottery activity of the north-west of the Iberian Peninsula is carried out. Doktorego Tesi honetan Iberiar penintsulako ipar-mendebaldeko Erdi Aroko eta Erdi Aro osteko zeramikaren jarduerari buruzko ezagutza arkeologikoan sakondu da. Horrela, Zamorako eta Aveiroko garai horietako zeramika-ekoizpenari buruzko informazio falta osatu da, eta zeramikaren tokiko edo eskualdeko jatorria eta eskualdeko edo eskualdez gaindiko merkataritza eta tokiko kontsumo-ereduak ebaluatu dira. Horretarako, batetik, metodo analitikoa optimizatu da, eta laborategiko zahartze esperimentu bat aurkeztu da, ur-inguruneetan jalkitako zeramikek jasan ditzaketen hainbat eraldaketa- eta kutsadura-prozesu azaltzen dituena. Prozesu horiek kontuan hartu behar dira zeramikarekin zerikusia duten alderdien interpretazio okerrak saihesteko. Gainera, teknika analitiko ez-suntsitzaile baten erabilera ere azaldu da (LA-MC-ICP-MS). Teknika honen errendimendua ikerketa honetan aztertutako kasu azterketa batean ebaluatu da. Bestalde, Aveiro eta Zamorako 124 zeramiketan hurbilketa arkeo metriko bat burutu da: pasten analisi kimikoak eta mineralogikoak ICP-MS eta XRD bidez egin dira eta mikroegituraren, beiraduren eta pigmentuen karakterizazioa SEM-EDS, Raman, LA-MC-ICP-MS,soluzio MC-ICP-MS eta LA-HR-ICP-MS bidez egin da.
